Thanks to all the students, geographers and teachers that have taken part in the Human Geography Zone!
It has been a fab 3 weeks. We hope youāve enjoyed it – and we hope youāve learnt something about what itās like being a human geographer.
There have been some excellent questions asked by students.
Here are some of my favourites – click to read the answers!
- Where is the most bizarre place you have worked? Like anywhere overseas?
- How would overpopulation affect shortages of essential items?
- Why are you interested in saving the planet and what can we do to stop global warming?
Throughout the Zone students have been voting for their favourite geographer.
That geographer will win Ā£500 to spend on more STEM engagement.
We are pleased to announce that the winner isā¦
š„George Foden
George studies the links between post-disaster shelter and housing reconstruction and long-term community resilience
George received the most votes from the students!
š Congratulations! š„³
Though the Zone has come to an end, you can view it at any time, to look back at the geographersā profiles, and see the answers they gave.
We hope youāll carry on being curious – and keep asking questions!
Thanks so much for taking part.
